Busy Busy! tis the season, and I have added extra mini session times today as we see the
first snowflakes fall. Here is what I have available in Nov. minis, call to check a time that
works for you for a full session.
Sunday 20, 1.30, and 2pm.
Monday 21, 9.30am or 10am.
Friday 25th 9am 10am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Monday 28th morning session
I will not be posting many photos between now and the new year as most of my clients will
be using the photos as gifts and in holiday card.
Below are a few from a summer mini session for little baby K.
This week I had the opportunity to do the school portraits for The Children's School,
what a fun experience. I will definitely be adding school portraits to my portfolio in the new
year, and would love to work with more smaller schools in the area.

One full week into December and the race is on for those last orders to be ready for the
holidays. Last weekend I did my final few studio sessions and this weekend will end out my
holiday card shoots. Then it's process and print and time for me to think about Santa and
my own holidays!
My plan for 2012 is to work with small business owners, business portraits, social profile
images, business advertising images, so if you are a small business and want to build
your visual profile lets chat. Below you will see a couple of recent business/profile shots.
Another area I want to work a lot more is birth photography, the images I have
photographed over the past few years are so powerful and I love working with families at
this time in their lives. I will be offering discounted birth photography in Jan. & Feb. Please
call now if you are thinking about it.

Last month I had the honor of spending a day at Children's Comer Hospital with the lovely children below. I was there as volunteer photographer for Flashes of Hope www.flashesofhope.org
from their website Flashes of Hope is a nonprofit organization that changes the way children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses see themselves through the gift of photography and raises money for pediatric cancer research.
The portraits, taken by award-winning photographers, help children feel better about their changing appearance by celebrating it. For families of terminally ill children, it's especially important to have a portrait that preserves forever the beauty, grace and dignity of their child.
It was such a meaningful project to be a part of and I look forward to working with FOH again in the new year.
I know I for one would love to have had a professional picture taken with my Dad while he was going through cancer treatment, and I hope these children will look back on these images years down the road and see the love, grace and peacefulness they exuded during their time in treatment.
