Farm to Table The Kitchen Table in a home downtown Chicago.
I photographed this little guy a few hours after he was born a couple of years ago, he was born at home, and his siblings baked him a cake to welcome him to the family
Being very considerate of where their food comes from, and conscious of no waste J (the mother and butcher) ordered half a pig direct from the farm to feed her family, and had a butcher friend come help her cut it up so nothing was wasted.

Recap on some recent work. Autumn was a very busy photographic season for me with a mix of corporate headshots, small business and educational marketing, editorial, annual report images, some family photography and school photos for four schools. Here is a little taste of that work, starting with some editorial work I did for The Northwestern Research Magazine.
Below are some headshots and staff group shots for Literacenter, a non-profit shared workspace dedicated to literacy

A June Wedding

Do you photograph weddings? I do but I am not a wedding photographer, so I don't have 'packages' or even a dedicated area on my site for wedding (add to to do list) but if you interested in talking to me about photographing your wedding I am happy to see if we are a good fit. I met E&B at an event I was photographing and they thought they might not want a full on wedding photographer, and so we worked out what they wanted and here are some of the photos. We had a very short time for bridal party photos ahead of the ceremony and they didn't want to spend too much of their time with their friends and family away taking photos, so it was quick and relaxed.

Looking back to early spring of this year I'll start with a set of marketing images for a new website
Four years in a row now I have worked with the graduating fashion class at Dominican University to produce images for their end of year fashion show catalogue and portfolio. The challenge is finding a unique space on campus each year that works with the different designs and can all be photographed during one class time.
Continuing my work with The Founding Mom, Jill Salzman we went on another adventure to take some silly photos, this time at Sugarcup Trading in Oak Park
