Sometimes we need to set goals for ourselves, give ones self that extra push to work on projects we have been thinking about for a long time. One I set for myself is a series of 52 portraits of 'Oak Parkers' in 2012. The idea is to photograph one about every week, when I finally got going on it toward the end of February I had a little catching up to do. About 13 portraits into it I have met a whole new bunch of Oak Parkers I didn't know, most I had never talked to before, a few I had chatted with a little bit.

For now I am just going to post some of the people, you can read a little more about them in earlier posts at http://emphoto.blogspot.com/

Above is John Roberts at Pieritz Bros.

Below Mark Pellettieri, Architect - Grand Desings.

not sure he fits in as an Oak Parker but I photographed him while he was exhibiting here and doing some amazing paper cutting demos, so I'm posting one for now

These may or may not be the images I display in the end, while visiting some of these people I took more than one photo, so it's always hard to show only one. More images can be seen in the individual posts  http://emphoto.blogspot.com/

I have a few more people lined up to meet, but if there is a person that comes to mind do tell!
